Red Fox
I am excited about today’s post. I have been hearing about a fox visiting the neighborhood, but I have not been able to see him, until yesterday evening. I was watching TV and heard these birds going crazy screaming. I got up to see what they were screaming about. Well it was the fox. I was so excited I ran to get the camera. By the time I got back, about 30 seconds, it was gone. I was not going to give up so easy so I headed out to find it. It was not long before I heard the birds screaming again. I found a good spot that over looked the area where the birds where and I waited. In the mean time I noticed a deer behind me so I turned to take a few pictures. I kept an eye out so I would not miss the fox. I was just about to give up when all of a sudden the fox came out of some Scrub Oak heading in my direction. I quickly took a picture before he saw me. The fox heard the click of the camera, stopped and looked straight at me and then took off. I snapped a few more pictures as it ran away. All of a sudden he stopped to take a look at me again and I go the best picture. It was a really great catch. I can not wait until the fox comes back to visit
Fox saw me and took off
The Fox stops to check and see if I was still there.
Perfect time for a clear picture.

Very good photographs. Congrats on capturing this fox... I find it hard to get these guys as they are much to swift for me!

Smart red fox.
When I worked in Paris I saw often foxes in the suburbs when I was driving in the industrial areas.
